Audit Commission identifies authorities to be unaudited under proposals

Nearly 100 public bodies with spending of more than £1 million a year that will escape audit under government plans can be revealed by Exaro.
The list of public bodies, which spend up to £6.5 million a year, was released to Exaro by the Audit Commission.
