MPs challenged ministers in an emergency debate today in Parliament over a special tax deal for a top civil servant, following an Exaro investigation.
Danny Alexander, chief secretary to the Treasury, announced to MPs that the government was scrapping the arrangements for the Student Loans Company’s chief executive.
