Naomi Scherbel-Ball worked as a producer for the BBC’s Paris bureau in 2009-2010, covering news for television, radio and online. She then worked in 2010 as a Bonn-based radio reporter for Deutsche Welle, the German equivalent to the BBC World Service. With a background in international news, she has particular expertise in Europe and the Middle East. She speaks fluent French, conversational German, and is learning Arabic.
