Tim Wood worked on the News of the World from 1997 until its closure in July 2011. He worked on the paper as a reporter and, from 2004, on its newsdesk. Tim began his career on the Enfield Gazette in the 1970’s and moved onto Hayters Sports Agency before running his own eight-strong bureau at the Old Bailey, covering major criminal trials.
